Passed 4000 new words total (for 2016) this morning, and somehow managed to write about vampire laws without adding in any super-specifics. Of course, I’ll probably have to change that later, but at least it got me past the scene in question. Phew! *cries joyful tears of relief*
So writing is going VERY well, but editing is not. There are still no more hours in the day than there were last year, and that’s a problem. So I think I’m going to have to adjust the #500wordsaday resolution to #500wordsaweekday so weekends can be reserved for getting this stuff edited (and posted for all of you).
I guess that means tomorrow is my first official polish/edit day of the New Year. Yikes! It’s been a long while since I’ve donned that hat. It may well be rumpled and soggy and perhaps the buckles have garnered some rust in my absence. Wish me luck!
