New Interview and Catching Up
Hello Friends and Readers! Feels like it’s been awhile. I can’t even begin to tell you how crazy the past month has been. Unexpected endings, my baby’s first karate chops to my organs, topping 800 followers on Wattpad, and so on and so forth. And, unfortunately, hardly any time for writing, but I’m hoping to rectify that very, very soon, because I know you are all dying for more RULER, and I really miss my desk and Mills and Keel.

Dear Readers…
This morning I emailed both LETTERS FROM NEW YORK Chapter 18 and the book’s epilogue off to my editor and artist. We now have reached the end of this part of our story. Chapter 18 is scheduled to go up Monday and the epilogue will be posted no later than next Wednesday.
As of tomorrow morning, I’m diving feet first into RULER [Blood Magic, Book 3]. Before the new year, when the serialization of that novel kicks off in earnest, I hope to share plenty of little teasers and extras with you, so hopefully you won’t forget about the Blood Magic saga during our brief four-month hiatus.
I want to close off this message with a very special, heartfelt thank you to the readers who keep up with the story week to week – I can’t begin to express how much you guys help keep me motivated and on track. So thank you, from the bottom of my red, squishy heart.

Missing in Action
Hello friends, readers, followers:
Long time no talk! If you’re wondering why, let’s just say it has been a pretty awful time for the Blood Magic creative team these last ten or so days. I personally got hit by a double medical whammy, of the sort that confines you to bed rest and multiple intrusive tests for days and days on end. And Jerry, our most awesome chapter illustrator, got hit by a truck – literally – resulting in a fractured sternum and multiple cracked ribs. So, if we’ve been off the map/radar/internet/Wattpad, that’s why. We’ve been laid up and in recovery.
That said, I’m almost all healed up now and Jerry is doing well too.
In much cheerier story-related news, I just locked the final edit of Letters From New York – Chapter 8 this morning, and it might be my favourite installment of this book yet. I’m expecting Jerry’s artwork to arrive on Sunday, meaning I’ll post everything Monday morning. And after that, we’ll hopefully be back on our regularly weekly schedule. Thanks again for bearing with us during this very difficult time. We haven’t forgotten you, I swear! I missed you all almost as much as I missed the act of writing itself, in fact.
